Independent ICT Reviews
My primary service focuses on delivering quality ICT Reviews to organisations across England and Wales. The ICT Reviews are entirely independent and are designed to offer the most practical solution for each organisation based on current technologies. I meet with Managers and ICT staff in order to assess the systems, web presence and policies currently in place at each organisation. The information that I gather is then used to make recommendations that are necessary for each organisation.
The ICT review is tailored for each individual organisation based on the ICT understanding of its staff. Information on the estimated costs of implementing each recommendation can also be supplied upon request. The ICT Review can be treated as a working document and incorporates the aims and objectives listed in each organisation's Business Plan.
An Independent ICT Review is the best possible way to find an appropriate solution for your organisation as there is no bias towards any particular brand or service. The information provided in each ICT Review can be used to find suitable ICT suppliers to implement the changes or even to have the work completed in-house.
Additional Services
I offer several services in addition to ICT Reviews. The services needn't run in parallel with an ICT Review, though for best results I recommend they are utilised simultaneously.
Consultation
I am available to attend meetings between organisations and their current or potential ICT Suppliers or Web Developers. I act as counsel for the organisation and ask questions that they may not have considered. After the meeting has been completed, I discuss my professional opinion with the organisation in order to help them make an informed decision. This service is especially useful when interviewing potential contractors for system installations or web development.
Specification Documents
Once an organisation has decided to follow through on recommendations from an ICT review or are looking to implement their own ideas, a Specification Document is required. I offer Specification Documents for both Websites and ICT Systems. The Specifications list what each organisation requires, along with timescales and invoicing details. The completed document can then be sent to numerous ICT Suppliers or Web Developers in order to have quotes returned in a way that can be compared easily with each other in order to choose the best supplier.
System Audits
I provide an auditing service that lists and evaluates in detail computer and networking equipment for organisations. This will be supplied to the organisation as a detailed report of each device and any faults or issues that have been found.
Presentations
I offer presentations and talks to groups of all sizes. I can cover any technology based topic and create my own presentation materials. If you are looking to host a presentation, supply training or require a speaker for an event, I am available to discuss your needs.
